Of Art and Mice Goes to the PAEYC Convention

We we're pleased to exhibit at the Pittsburgh Association for the Education of Young Children(PAEYC) Conference in down town Pittsburgh. Honored to have been invited by Linda Erlich, Early Childhood Arts Coordinator with the Pittsburgh Public Schools. The conference held in May at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center hosted teachers and educators from all four corners of the city. In addition to exhibiting work from 11 local artists from "Of Art and Mice" there were demo opportunities and numerous workshops for teachers to share best practices, techniques or even have fun on a futuristic playground without having school children around.

Passports: The Art Diversity Project staff made many new friends, and has plans to exhibit the art at local libraries and centers. Passports was pleased to have been selected to be in the illustrious number celebrating the National Week of the Child: April 12-16, 2010. Stay tuned!
